Sympathy Martial Arts Card

It's never pleasant to have need of a sympathy card, and this was definitely not an exception. 

My husband trains in martial arts and has earned his second degree black belt. We couldn't be more proud! A good friend and training buddy of his passed away unexpectedly last weekend in a freak accident. This week the DoJang held a special celebration for him and so I made this card for my husband to take.

I carved this stamp using the undefined stamp carving kit and I plan on carving a few more to go with it. 

The sympathy sentiment is from the hostess set Bloom with Hope.

I really liked the sentiment for the inside of the card, it is also from the Bloom with Hope stamp set.

Martial arts card

Here's a card I made using the martial arts silhouette stamp I carved! 

The background is made using the work of art stamp set. This is also using this years new in colours! I'm really liking them! 

This card was for my hubby for his Sun Hang Do tournament. 

I plan on carving a few more stamps to with this one- just can't seem to decide what to carve!

Here is my latest stamp carving made using the undefined stamp carving kit by Stampin' Up! 

My husband is a 2nd degree black belt and I've been wanting to make some scrapbook pages of him and our son in their uniforms, so I carved this stamp up and went to town!

Here is the result:

I love how it turned out!!!
