Open House! September 7th 1-3

Undefined carved stamps

I've been wanting to make some superhero card for my hubby and my son for awhile now- and now that Stampin' Up! has the undefined stamp carving kit (133402- $25.95) I got to do just that! I carved the superman logo and the batman logo.... here's what they look like:

 

It was pretty easy to do- with a little finesse after the first one I found it got easier to carve (batman was my second one) Also- the batman fits into the wide oval punch! The sky is the limit on what you can create now!

Too Kind Thank-you Cards

I just got my new stamps the other day and had to sit down and play! I created this card using my two favorite colours at the moment! Pool Party and Island Indigo. I just love this stamp set- it is too simple and makes such stunning cards! I've pinned more ideas than I think I'll ever have time to create!

Baby Overall's Card!

 

I cased this cute little card off Jaydee. I came up with a few different versions based on hers and I think I like these ones the best- the little pocket was made using the large tag punch. Here are the other two (one is just a change in colour..)

 

I hope you like them! I added faux stitching to the collar and the sleeves as well as the pockets.

3x3" Baby Thank-you cards

I made these cute little thank-you cards for a friend's baby shower last Sunday. The cards are 3x3" and fit into the cute little box, there were 12 cards.
It made a really cute gift!

I just made this cute card and it took just minutes! I think I'm going to really love this new stamp set! It's called too kind and is in the annual catalogue at just $17.95! I cases this card off Pinterest and now can't find my pin to give credit to them.
